THE DRESS IN WINFIELD, KANSAS

Personal projects often get put on the back burner. That's why this blog post is just now seeing sunshine.

My close-knit group of Cowley County Photographers passed around a dress for six months. Each photographing in their own style, with their hand-picked model. This project shows our unique, individual approach to the same salmon, floor length dress. The entire time we all had to keep our work a secret until we displayed it for a month long exhibit at College Hill Coffee.

I am so lucky to work in such a competitive industry with such an awesome group of inspiring, helpful and wise people that I can call my people. Not many photographers can say that.

Thank you to the fabulous Taylor Fell for channeling her inner Stevie Nicks and bring this dress to life!
